Golden Nugget Announces Chiligaming Deal
Chiligaming's iGaming platform is set to give Golden Nugget a sharp edge in the developing US market.
Golden Nugget have chosen Chiligaming as its exclusive online partner and will launch a free-play website in the next quarter.
The decision was taken in anticipation of the legalization of online gaming in the United States, and Golden Nugget hopes that the partnership will enable swift and decisive entry into the market.
A central facet of the deal is Chiligaming's proprietary iGaming platform, which allows it to connect to any gaming content provider or poker platform.
Chiligaming's CEO, Alexandre Dreyfus, said, “Chiligaming is thrilled to partner with Golden Nugget. It is ideally positioned for all of the online developments that lie ahead.”
Tilman J. Fertitta, Golden Nugget's chairman and owner, said that the company studied over a dozen internet gaming companies over nine months before deciding to partner with Chiligaming.
He said, "We believe online gaming is inevitable in the United States and that the Golden Nugget will be well positioned to compete when US laws allow for online gaming."
